This kite is worth it. It is large and easy to assemble. It is easy to fly too. The material is very sturdy and you can tell it will last. We have flown it about 5 times now and each time enjoyed it. It is easy to spot in the sky with the blue and red colors. Great price too!

This kite provided several hours of fun for me and my 2-year old. It flew well and was easy to assemble. The only reason for not a full 5 star is because the handle for the string. I really did not want to let out the full length of the string, so I tried to secure it at the length I wanted, but time and time again, the string would slip out of the string lock part on the handle, so it was a constant battle to try to secure the string again. I tried tying, wrapping around a bunch, and even tried to tape it down at one point. All to no avail. With each attempt the the string would slip free and I would have to wind it back up to the length I wanted, and start over. But other than that, this kite worked very well & I would recommend it. I went ahead and purchased a better string holder, so I will try that on our next kite flying excursion.

When I opened the kite package to review it, it had some surprises. If you look at the advertisements and one video, they show nothing about assembly. The reality is that there are multiple rods that have to go together to create the frame, and then the kicker is you're supposed to tie knots in the center of the rods to keep them in place. The second video does show it. This is all good and fine if you intend to keep the kite set up, but if you wanted to disassemble it each time that's kind of a nuisance, such as taking it to a park and then having to fit it back into a car. It would be good if they had provided some kind of clip to secure the frame at those junctions. The package does come with the string and a handle, but it’s the most basic kind of handle where the string wraps around it. That would be fine but again their video shows a much fancier kite reel. The assembly instruction seems straightforward. Other than that the kite seems to be well-made, and I'll update the review when there's nicer weather to fly it other than our presents snowy wet winter in the Northeast!
