I bought this kite based on the great reviews and because it was both highly rated and affordable. It was going to be my toddler's first kite, and I was excited for the experience. I have to say, we had an amazing time flying it! At first, we had to run around a bit to get the kite airborne, but once we figured out the direction of the wind, it became much easier.

Now, I won’t lie,once I got the kite up and started letting the string out, the wind picked up, and I started to feel like the string might not hold up against the force. The string is actually a fishing line, which is incredibly long and surprisingly durable. While I was a little nervous the whole time, it withstood the strong pull of the wind without any issues. The kite was tugging hard, and my toddler wasn’t able to hold it because of the strong pull. However, if you only let the string out a little, he was able to manage it just fine.

Overall, it was a wonderful family experience, and we were lucky to have the perfect park, trees on the edges and a clear, open space in the middle to fly the kite. It made for the perfect setting, and we all had a blast!

P.S. it was very easy to assemble. The instructions are on the other side of the picture inside the travel pouch for the kite.
